    pnue questions.

ok im trying to figure this out.
i need a reg that will take it down to less then 100psi
i take out the sear and put in aculater(sp?) thing
other then that i cant really follow the phish tutorial is there another one i can go by?

and what exactly on the smav-3 does the trigger hit causing it to fire

and on a classic valve do i need to get a rt on/off is it really nescessary? and i want to upgrade can I just drop in a rt or x valve later on?

It's really a fairly simple system. Here's what happens:

The air coming from you tank (800psi) is regulated down to around 50psi or so by the low pressure regulator (a cocker reg normally). The air coming from the lpr travels to the 3-way valve. The trigger pushes a small button on the valve. This sends air to a small actuator. The actuator is just a tube of brass with a rod and a spring in it. The air causes the rod to extend, hitting the sear (without the arm) thus firing the gun. The spring then returns the actuator.

And no, you don't need a rt on-off in a classic, although it does help.

    I hope that helped.
