Installing a morrlockboard in an emag

I wound up with 2 emags. One was going to be my sons when he sold his vf tacticle, but he traded it for a nerve and likes it. I'll be hanging on to the emag for awhile "just in case".

My first mag is a morlocked etac with predator 5 software. What would be invloved in installing this in the stock emag I have? Are there any reasons to leave it stock?

Are there other boards that are better?

Also, are there any shops that do this? I could probably pull it off, but I don't ahve a way to flash the board.

Well, first off unless you have the Morlock already it would be a hard time finding one right now, but if you did Tagsportz.com does flashing to Predator 5.0 for $50 plus shipping I think. The only other board that isreally available is the stock board but you can can the Xmod programmer from Lornecash here on AO, from what I have read it is really great but takes a little more time to set up properly as many Emags today are out of spec from factory. As far as shops that do installs I don't know, I know there are probably many out there you would just need to find them and then trust them with your gun and money. Myself, I would go the Xmod route and have your own programmer, not have any need to change boards, new code comes from Paul(Lornecash) you just download it and put it on your gun, and you don't have to send it anywhere to get it done. Probably the most economical way to do it if you aren't comfortable with doing a board install yourself.
