    unique mag mod idea/questions

I am thinking of fabing a longer cylynder for the on/off and threading the end to fit a ion banjo
this way the air preassure will directly push the on off as opposed to using a lever/pneumo setup.
if you know what I'm talking about please pm me as to whether it will work or not.
banjo will attach to a eboard
will 150psi be enough to push the on/off up to cycle?
what other mods can I do ( in comparison to the stock on off/ classic on off)
in order to allow for faster cycling?
i can get this made for free ( or maybe a case of beer ) so Im gonna do it but before I do if anyone has any advise ( pneumagger, im looking your direction )please feel free.
longer donut part of the onoff so that the pin never extrudes from the bottom. a QEV ( banjo style 360 QEV ) threaded into the bottom so that the air preasure from the board directly shoots the pin up to activate the gun.
    anyone else tryed this?
how fast will my gu8n cycle if I do this and drill out a 8 hole config in my reg?

#1) The pin has about 350 psi on the other side of it from the valve. I may be off on that number a bit... electrician, what was that internal dump pressure?
Anyways, to move the pin up with direct pressure you will need to exceed the mag's dump chamber pressure.

#2) I assume you'll be doing this all to move away from the sear and piston assemblies. So you'll need a way to catch and release the bolt as well as time that up perfectly with the activation of the on/off

All that is very possible, but a lot of work when you could just use the sear as the timing device.

I'd stick with the sear. Although you could cut the sear arm off that connects to the trigger pin, and use a pneumatic ram to push up on the sear right below the on-off.

the 8-hole mod doesn't do that much, but you might look into making a high-flow on/off like the electrician did a while back: http://automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=197572

sweet christ, could you imagine if you ported an RT valve out like that.
        WOW
        would be hella fast.
Probably fast enought to restablish itself as the fastest gun in the world, by a long shot...
