    Intellifeed Pneumag planning

So i've gotten my hands on an intelliframe and I'm in the rough planning phase. My primary concern is where to mount the LPR and which LPR to get, It doesn't look like it'll fit in the frame.

    MY question is:
What is the mechanism for mounting it near/on the asa, and if I were to tap my gas-through foregrip, would that make any difference in performance? Very few Pmags appear to have the LPR more than a few centimeters from the pneumatics.

    Flash..... OOOOoooooohhhhh

^^sorry, I had to do that

#1) Most LPRs work just fine. Only one or two have a chance of fitting the fitting in an Intelliframe even with modification to both the frame, fittings, and LPR. Some of the LPRs that have worked well in the past are Microrocks, WGP sledgehammers, Ticklers, and the clippard LPRs seem to work fine as well - any quality LPR should be fine.

#2) where you put the LPR shouldn't matter much. whether it's out front or next to the pneumatics, it will be fine. The easiest mount is on an elbow onthe bottom ASA. The forgrip install isn't to bad and produces a clean look. The internal LPR is ALOT of work and generally doesn't look very clean when pulled off unless you have a lot of tooling to get what you want.

So the ASA mounted LPR is on an elbow on the ASA where a gauge might be? Sounds like i'll need a new ASA at the very least. Thanks for the quick response!

you could use a T fitting.

Did I find the right one?

be sure to check the pressure ratings.

They're rated at 1000psi @ 72* which is plenty right? Or would it be cutting it too close?

That means they'll probably hold about 2000psi. A working pressure is much lower than a burst pressure and in a brass fitting, I wouldn't expect much material degredation over time like a macroline. That's fine. I've actually used it before.

Wait, that isn't the right t fitting you want...
You want to put both a guage and a LPR on your foregrip without drilling and tapping a new hole...so you need a 1/8th npt fitting, becasue I've never heard of a LPR with a 10/32 input...only 10/32 outputs...

that should work. It'll screw into the asa, then the air-line will screw into one end, and the lpr will screw into the other end.
