    Making a mag from scratch...

Hello. I'm kinda new to the world of automags, but the bug bit me and I really need to make one now. I've done some research, but I'm still a little overwhelmed by everything. I think I want to make my own from scratch, as I'm it would allow me to customize it how I would like and it would be fun.

-Anyways, I want to make an automag with an electric trigger frame.(How would you compare an electric's pull to the ULT trigger mod thingy) I have a mech cocker, and just for a change, I want a high-end feeling electric gun thing. Something you could walk like an Angel or Timmy.

-I'm having trouble finding info on E-frames. What kinds are there, what are the best, what are the cheapest? Along time ago I saw a thread somewhere about I guy that made an electric frame for an automag out of a spyder frame. Was that succesful and would that be a good idea for an electric frame?

-I would also like a lightweight one. So a ule body with vert feed? And x-valve?

-I have a 68cu 4500psi Pure energy high pressure tank. It works great on my autococker. Would it work with an automag? Because I've read something about pressure and cycle speed.

-How much do Electronic Mag's usually cost fully assembled? (new preferably)

Thank you for any help, and I hope this is the correct board to post this in. If it isn't, please move it to the correct one.

Electronic trigger frames that I think

    Boo yah
    Hyper frame 13bps/20bps
    Sypder frame
    E-mag

The emag/hyper/boo yah are direct bolt on(well change the sear) the sypder frame works very well from what I've heard but I've never set one up so don't know what all is involved with that.

Those are what I can think of, there may more also.

For a whicked light trigger pull check out Pneumatic frames, all mech. but completly walkable.

X-valve with a ULE will be your lightest setup.

    Prices

    X-valve $150-$350
    ULE body $100 or so
frames hyper frames have been going for around $150 or so

If you want a new mag check out www.airgun.com

hmm, thanks. That gave me some good things to research.

Does anyone have any videos of someone shooting a mag with a ULT trigger? I have seen what emag's can shoot, but I can't compare that to what a ULT can do.

I also found that thread about the spyder mag someone made. Link

I can get 1 ESP frame really cheap, so I might go that way as it would be much cheaper than the other choices, and the other choices are rare/out of stock.

So what I'm thinking of doing is ordering a Custom ULE from airgun for $387. It would have a black ULE body, the single trigger frame, and a ULT kit installed. Then I would remove the stock trigger frame and do the modifications and install the spyder frame. Am I missing anything or is that it?
