AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
i know a battery, switch and cables, but what would be used to trip the sear?
As fare as I know there is 2 methods, one involved using a solenoid that actually moves against the sear, the other uses a 2way/3way solenoid that activates a pneumatic ram that hits the sear. I think your question is pretty broad and you will have a hard time getting answers until you do a little more research and get a little more detailed questions. Just spend like an hour or so going through these threads and I'm sure most of your questions will have already been answered. Good Luck!

a battery, microswitch, clapper solenoid, and it really helps to have a board to control the dwell of the electric pulse sent to the solenoid. Eyes are optional.

You can add a cap to this list too.
I dont know alot about the E-Kit stuff so I lean toward guys like BE and The E~ to help me in these areas.
Im doing a EP kit,.... from the looks, its going to cost less than the straight E-Kit.
