    mq mag thoughts

hey guys ok so y havent we seen this done. i remember the pics psted a while back but all it is is mounting the mq in a tube put in the frame right? it seems like all it needs is ult. and the where the pull pin would go on a half blocked cocker is where the sear would go or am i wrong.

There is no sear or on/off in the MQ mag. It is different.

Yup, that one. An MQ mag is more like a single tube version of Nicad's Aedes marker. There is no more fixed volume dump chamber, the MQ would act more like a mag with no sear, and a ridiculously high flowing on-off that uses pre-regulated air that is opened to fire, then shut off after a certain amount of time.

The bolt doesn't have to hold back any pressure until the MQ fires, which is which both pushes the bolt forward, and propels the ball. Mags have a sear because the bolt is actually like a cork in a champagne bottle that was shaken up, drop the sear, and the pressure at the bolt pushes it forward. No pressure at rest, no need to hold the bolt back.

Watch an animation of an Invert Mini, the bolt would move somewhat like that, but the valve itself is not the same as an MQ. That, and an NQ Mag would have a central core in the bolt, unlike a mini where the cycling air goes around the power tube instead of through it.
