    Pneumag with RT?

Just something i have been pondering about in the couple last days... Is it possible to make a pneumag with RT, meaning the on/off will push the trigger back? I'm planning on making a pneumag, and thought it could be possible if you can fit a rod onto the sear that goes between the MPA-3 and MSV-2. The only thing about this would be you could possibly have a runaway gun, or one that is highly reactive. If the latter, maybe construct something like the firemode selector on the E/X?

Just brainstorming a bit.. My future project is passing customs as we speak, and i've already placed orders for the parts i need to pneumag it.

I have a team mate with an RT pneumag, I think pneumagger did it. I have a 'classic' pneumag so I had to think about this for a minute when my team mate said he could make his pneumag reactive.

The reg for the pneumatics adjusts the pressure on the MPA-3. By adjusting the reg (he has a front mounted tickler) he hunts around until he finds the right pressure that is equivalent to light finger pressure. At that point, he has a full RT (auto) trigger with no semi-auto. I don't know how long the marker will run without re-adjustment, but it is pretty interesting. He plays semi auto most of the time anyway.

Easy this one!! I've done 2 frames with the RT on/off and the Emag on/off. Having tried the ULT on/off i can't say it made a whole lot of difference to performance. Personally i found the RT on/off to work the best giving the nicest pull and i also found it easier to set up than the ULT. It's still electro light and gives a whopping ROF! I also found it there to be no difference in ROF between the RTand Emag on/off, but the RT on/off gave a nicer pull over the Emag on/off. In fact after a lot of extensive testing i found the ULT to be a bit of a disapointment. I have also eliminated the runaway off mine. Now i'm used the setup, i'm pulling (i think) around a respectable 13 bps. Anymore than that and i think i'd be exagerating! Mmm...measurement software....

Get it over a radar chrono... should give you some indication of what bps you could get with that... So if i just tinker around with the lpr i would get some reactivity? Not that i would use it very often, but it's a nice bonus tho.

I'm more of a semi guy anyway, but some reactivity would be nice to have for lazy days (and to show off offcourse)

No, you won't get a bouncy trigger, as the reactivity is kept under control by the MPA-3 returning to its rest state faster. If you want to keep a bouncy trigger, keep a second unmolested frame for those moments when you miss a bouncy frame. Turning up the LPR just inhibits the makes the frame work inefficiently, walking the frame becomes next to impossible, not because the trigger pull is too heavy, but because there is too much pressure forcing the MPA-3 forwards, so there isn't enough return force at the MPA-3 spring to reset the plunger. There's a sweet spot so to speak when setting up the LPR.

            Thanks for the tip!!

Can't wait to start building it, i bought a Tac-one from geekwarrior and i will ULE the intelli at work (i have access to CNC milling machines) and maybe ULE some more parts. I've always found my xmags very special, but a bit heavy and i want to build something that better fits my woodsball needs.

Aye, the Pneumags nice and light, ideal for super quick snap shots i soo love! Xmags are far too special to modify, very very nice

I've had mine not reset the seer correctly a few times when the heaviest spring is in there with the lightest pressure on the trigger and end up getting "turbo" mode, 1 shot, 1 shot, 2 shots, 2 shots, 1 shot...etc
