AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
i am looking for a special spring... it is 3/4 inch in diameter and 6 1/2 inches long...
it needs to be strong
anyone know where i can get a part like this?

my dad got a bb gun from his friend who died--they were close and it was his when he was a kid. it had been cocked for a looong time, not only wearing down the already old spring but also twisting it... really bad. i thought i would fix it for him, and i finally got it completley apart

I think it might be better to actually find the correct spring for this since it has sentimental value. It's like workin on an old car...When restoring, use as many original parts as possible.
actually, i did find the correct spring... yardsale.
i found out the gun is from 1966. :]
