anyone know where i can find a spring?

i am looking for a special spring... it is 3/4 inch in diameter and 6 1/2 inches long...

    it needs to be strong

anyone know where i can get a part like this?

      well..

my dad got a bb gun from his friend who died--they were close and it was his when he was a kid. it had been cocked for a looong time, not only wearing down the already old spring but also twisting it... really bad. i thought i would fix it for him, and i finally got it completley apart

        Resto

I think it might be better to actually find the correct spring for this since it has sentimental value. It's like workin on an old car...When restoring, use as many original parts as possible.

Good luck on the resto. Maybe post some pics when you're done?

spring usually comes after winter. Ya just missed it, keep your eye out around march '08 though.
