Concert Update: Yeah, I'm bored so deal w/ it.

Lessee, not this weekend, but next (screw exact dates) I'm going to City Stages in Birmingham. Gonna see a nice little lineup if I do sayso myself. Kid Rock, Live, Skynard & George Clinton..amongst a bunch of crappy bands, but hey, I can just go at night & catch the good stuff Oh, and the tickets are free (for me) so Hellll yeah!!

The Tuesday after that (22nd) *hopefully* I'm going to see Three Days Grace & Thornley, I'll have to blow off class to do so, and since summer classes blow I dunno if I can swing that one

On July 6th, Soil & Shinedown..Helllll yeah

Anyways, totally stoked about all the shows...really looking forward to all the shows, Especially Kid Rock / Senor Clinton & Shinedown (Skynard reborn )

I wondered about the Shack/Foul thing too. They do that Hack a Shack thing, he's a bad free throw shooter so when the Lakers have the ball in the last two minutes of the quarter (when all fouls get a free throw) the other team fouls Shack so they don't get to shoot the ball and when Shack finishes the free throws the other team gets the ball. Personally, I think it's CHEATING but apparently thats how they play the game.

Let's look at it at a different light. Let's define sport:

Ok see but atleast they call the fouls...... and its his own fault that he sux at free throws anyone should be able to shoot a free throw exspecialy if they have their own indoor court in their house.... you see what is cheating is shaq bumping people out of the way with his huge arse which should be a charge if they have their feet planted but because shaq draws so much money in the league lets him do whatever he wants....

That last line is one of the best lines I've heard about the NBA ever. I personally think that it's a lame excuse. The ref's call fouls with what they think are fouls. In fact I remember hearing things like this about Hakeem Olajuwan (Houston Rockets center) and taking the "extra" step. I've just noticed it's people on the other team's that get beat making excuses for their teams performance. Laker's beat them cause the Pistons messed up. I really don't think they make an exception for Shaq.
