Its not that long of a drive, he's just being lazy. Its only an 45 minutes to an hour. Plus lodging is cheaper.

No seriously, I'm attending, with my brother inlaw. I would like to be somewhere close and it can be moderately priced.

Heather, I'll be staying at the Hampton Inn which is about 10 or 15 mins from the field. There is also a redroof inn and a Motel 8 I think it was roight in the same area.
