Ok, I read the official rules on spys, but it only refers to arm band tape. Does it pertain to jersey/shirts as well? For example: Can a KAYE player bribe a SHATNER player into giving him/her their jersey?

I see where it says "no swapping of sides", but technically that's not what being a spy is. If you are a spy you are still playing for your assigned team, just doing so in a different way. Am I'm being too literal?

As stated on the Celebrity Paintball Website here:
>Players MUST wear the event shirt or commemorative jersey for their chosen side! Switching of sides will result in severe penalties for your side and possible expulsion from the event with no refund! (ya gots to earn the win, not buy it).<

As well, referees must be able to identify which side the players are on.

ALL true media personnel on the field will be easily identified when they are working. We are supplying them with something special to wear
They will have press badges. They will not be wearing event shirts or jerseys. They will not be allowed to carry paintball equipment or play while working.

Finally, if you can't tell which side they're playing on, shoot them anyway.

My boy, da Godmother enjoys a good role every now and again, but she insists that da spies be missing from dis particular game. It's a matter of honor, you see. The Shaft gots to use spies to get the win from The Don? Tongues would wag and we'd be shamed! The Don's credibility would be tainted among his peers. Not a good thing. Could result in a whack, if ya know whut I mean...

So, though I admire your determination and dedication to your boss, let us all just shoot the b*st*rds and get it overwith, see?
