Well, shatnerball was a big organized charity game, spearheaded by AGD and was 'hosted' by william shatner.

Of course I know who William Shatner is. I just wasn't getting the connection between him and paintball. Thanks for informing me though... now I can finally sleep at night

Yeah he holds these events all over the country and has a bunch of celebrities leading many other teams.

Its usually his team vs Tom Kaye.

He also grabs Mancow (Chicago Radio Host) allot to be on his team.

I have yet to go to one of these, but i plan on going sometime. It seems fun since Im a trekky(but more for Next Generation lol)

But it would be nice to meet the man.

I hear the events are really fun.

Spplat Attack 1 - CPX - 2002 (Federation vs Klingon vs Borg)
Spplat Attack 2 - EMR - 2003 (US Cavalry vs Bandits)
Shatnerball - CPX - 2004 (Mobster vs Mobster)

There were rumors that 2005 was going to see the fourth game at the old Houston Astro dome but was canceled right before anything went public (and a good thing too since the Astro dome was used during Hurricane Katrina)

Right now we all wait with baited breath if there will be a fourth game but your guess is as good as ours.

The first two are available on DVD.

(I've only been to the 2003 & 2004 games - 2002 I had eye surgery!)
