whats the does the sp-8 require a perticular psi, and will having the wrong wone damage it?

The SP8 is a low pressure marker, so any LP tank will work. As for HP damaging it, I'm not sure, but I don't think it will help it at all...

The SP8 is an ion.

you can use any tank you choose (HP or LP) on it. HP tanks are better because other than angels they can be used on pretty much any gun.
