    Z-Grip Mags

I have seen some, not many. Is it for form or function or both? Kinda looks cool, different really.
If you got one, flaunt it. I would like to see some.
Also, where can you get a Z-Grip?

    Thanks

z-grips are no longer made, they were replaced with the y-grip which is the same thing but less of an angle.

the y-grip is basicly a reverse 45* frame. you can get these from any AGD dealer.

z-grips show up randomly on Ebay and the bst randomly for a good amounr of $.

theres lots of pics in the pic thread sticky.

the comfortability depends on how you hold your gun. if you hold it tight from the bottom then its probly comfortable. but if you hold your gun like a normal firearm its probly difficult to shoot at all.

I wanted a classic RT for the looks and decided I may aswell get one with a Z grip. You either get them on ebay or the B/S/T section here. They would make a good setup for someone to play tight bunkers like a snake, but it seems that the Y grip is a better design. The z grip is most comfortable right beside your face which feels strange. The Y grip is at a better angle for the average player.

the only problem I have with my Z-grip is that if you want a foregrip you have to buy/make a rail extender (I think Luke makes them) and I haven't gotten around to getting one yet. other than that I love the way the frame feels super tight and truly ergonomical in design.

i really love showing mine off too, although its not nearly as special as that EZ-tac...

for me, the Zgrip is just something rare that makes a good conversation piece, but its really comfortable too

that all depends. i got a z-grip for my RT Pro rail, and i don't need an extendor. I also have a z-grip for my classic rail, and i will need an extendor if i decide to go with a foregrip (i most likely will)

the z-grip on the far left has wings on it to fit the classic rail. the z-grip on the far right does not have wings to fit the RT Pro rail.

it is mostly for funcionality, as mentioned before. if you hold you gun like a paintball gun, it's good. if you hold it like a real firearm, (which, would be pretty silly if you ask me) then you would want a normal 45.

personally, i think the y-grip in the middle is my favorite. but i like the z-grips cuz there was only like, 200 made. or maybe 400. whatever. it's a nice collectors item =D

nate, what kind of offset tank mount is that?

                    does it go left/right?

its a standard KAPP cradle, its a hexagon, so you can rotate the tank left, right, or just have it straight too. The KAPP dropzone and stubby have the design.
