Im not defending Animal Paintball, but having been in the "custom goods" industry for the better parts of a decade, I can explain some of what this situation sounds like:Originally posted by going_homeWell the image they sent me was 1.5" x 2.0 " .
They are telling me that I approved where the logo is, and it will be $20.00 to fix it.
I told them about the size of the image they sent me.
Mongo asked me to send it to him. I sent him a Microsoft Photo Editor attachment. No response, Waited a while and asked him about it. Said he didnt get it. Sent the attachment again. No response. Sent another email. No response now after several days.
I just think its not very good business when you send someone a very small image and then
when the logo is just stupid bad out of place, blame it on the customer approving it.
The jersey has Animal Paintball logos all over it that there was no way I could see in the tiny image they sent me, and I never approved those logos either. They dont bother me, but its the same nonsense I am being handed with the AGD Lion logo being below my waist.
So far as it stands now, I would never buy from Animal Paintball again.

1) The image you approved was 1.5" x 2.0" because they couldnt send you a 10x12" version at 300 dpi to approve. Its just too big. You likely were only approving the actual image itself. Not its size. But had they put the 1.5" x 2.0" logo in the same spot, would you be complaining? I think so. So its size has nothing to do with your gripe. Only its location, which is the same location as most others.
2) The lion logo is in the same place on others jerseys. It only appears odd on your jersey because you chose not to have your name, nickname, or numbers printed. Had you wanted the logo in a different spot since you didnt have name/nickname/nubmers printed, you should have said so. I assume you didnt say so, otherwise youd have a legitimate gripe. It sounds like you ASSUMED they would just move it for you.
3) You dont get to approve or disapprove the Animal logos, they are on there becuase they created the garment. Every Animal jersey Ive seen has them. Im sure you could pay extra to not have them on there, but by default they are part of the jersey because Animal created the garment. CSG does the exact same thing. You would have had to ask for them not to be on there, a "custom" request, and pay the additional cost to have them removed.
Ive dealt with this issue many times. Some responsibility lies with the customer needing to know what they are getting. Its not 100% on the manufacturer. And since he is only asking for $20 to replace/reprint a $45 jersey, it sounds like Animal is "splitting the difference" with you.Comment

Mmm....
well they got it in the right spot here :
Paintball Talk is the main forum for Automags.org. Here is where we talk about the sport of paintball in general and make announcements relating to the forum and website.
Funny how his doesnt have any lettering but they got his right.
The one I received is a pretty stupid looking shirt.
There really isnt any excuse for the logo being so low. No excuse at all.
They couldnt have quality checked it before it shipped.
If they did then that makes it even worse.
Splitting the difference when its their blatantly obvious mistake isnt splitting the difference at all. They dont respond to emails now. The shirt will be their negative advertising.
Just making sure people in here know what kind of stuff might show up if they buy from them. I have a few more forums to post it on.
The shirt is for the world to see their handy work.

Did you approve the image they sent you and if not did you ask them to change it? Did you ask them to place the image higher up? Just wondering. Could it be that Badger1099 maybe designed his so the logo was higher up since he knew he wouldn't be using numbers or names? Maybe he will chime in, I dunno.Originally posted by going_homeMmm....
