concept body milled!...tell me what you think

I thought i would drop in and show you guys what i have been up to. The body in this picture is far from being done. the detents are in the wrong spot and a bunch of other stuff.....it was milled on a scrap part from another automag project. its just a concept body so i could have something to show you guys. I will be cutting the rest of the concept bodies on 1.5" solid aluminum bar stock.


my designer and i came up with this idea...its a new twist on the chord design.

need your guys input on this. we have some other ideas of how we could redo it. we plan on slimming it down and maybe changing the cone pattern. the picture just does not do this body justice...you really need to see it up close.



We plan on putting in some hours on the design and CAM work this week to try to knock the 1st design out.

personally, its just a little too much for my taste. looks like jelly rolls of a fat person, you know what i mean? but other than that, it seems alright.

i swear i saw a body almost like this on zazzoo's gun...

thanks for the support guys...i just wish you guys could see it in person.

what do you guys think of the cone design on the front of the body? keep it or change it (and if so, to what?)

I cant and wont give an answer on price yet....its just too early for me to do that.

we decided that these bodies will not be run on our mazak machining center because we have some contract jobs....we are looking into buying a different machine to just run all the custom paintgun bodies.


I really hope to have bodies ready to sell by the end of AUG., or by the latest mid fall.
I am going on vacation for 2 weeks and i will pick back up on everything when i return.
