Maybe look for anything sharp in your ASA? Also if you unscrew the tank till the tank pin is no longer engaged, then shooting off the air in the lines and unscrewing it all the way helps.

      Nothing sharp in the ASA.

The orings break when screwing it in

its moe than likely your asa. some just have a habit of eating o-rings. is it an on-off asa? if not i suggest getting one, that should reduce the number of o-rings you go through.

Its an AGD asa. I tried my CO2 tank and it works just fine.

ahhh the stock agd asa, it's a POS. It'll take o-rings left and right. The pin seems to be a little long on that. Replace it with another ASA dude. Thats what I did to resolve my issue when I 1st bought my RT ULE.

I have had the same problem and really did not want to replace my ASA. My fix was a little oil on the threads and oring before I screw it in. If you dont have oil then use spit it will work to even though its a little primative.

Back in the CO2 days this happened alot to me. Try placing the o ring in the ASA itself, flat. Then screw the bottle in tight. That worked for me all the time. Never screwed up an o ring again

oil the threads, and o-ring on the tank, works wonders

If all the other suggestions don't help, just use a dremmel on the ASA pin. Just a little bit, it won't take much to shorten it enough.

It happens because the tanks valve is getting opened during the screw in just prior to the tank o-ring seating in the ASA. This is either because the ASAs pin depresser is a tad to long or the pin on the valve is a tad too long for the combination of the two.

There are three options , a different ASA (on/off of course always the best choice) . . .

Shortening the ASA pin depresser (file/sand it down a small amount at a time till it stops the problem) . . .

Dropping an o-ring into the ASA prior to screwing in the tank. That way the tank face seals on that o-ring prior to the valve opening. (Little trick that goes WAY back to CO2 days and still works like a champ)

                          Thanks for the replies.
Yes, I do use oil for everyone who has suggested that. But I will try either the extra o-ring or taking a dremel to the Asa pin. and HOPEFULLY this issue wont happen again.
