    Anyone use mech cockers?

A good friend and I just put together a couple of mechanical autocockers for a big game coming up next month. We both laughed because we will be the only people using mechanical cockers...

Does anyone else still use them?

Here is the one I put together.

    WGP mini'ed #1435 ( )
    99 Cocker Bencmark Frame
    KAPP trigger plate
    Custom roller sear
    Custom Delrin backblock
    Bob Long? aluminum bolt
    Bob Long brass valve
    KAPP LPC and LPR
    No name three way
    ANS? Short throw ram
Stock HPR with AKA Adjustable cap
    ACI Zero Gravity

      Thanks!

Yes, cockers are surprisingly cheap (thanks to the ION, PMR, other cheap electro's), and still work well.

      Cockers=love.

I have one that my friends call Doo Doo Brown. I've had that cocker since about 2000 or so. Shoots as good as ever. Wouldn't give it up for anything.

I shoot a mech cocker. It's pretty new(2004 model). I picked it up the year it came out. It was that or an 03 cocker or an impulse. I'm still really happy that I chose it. The trigger is amazing, it is very fast, and it can run on c02. I've never had a problem with it either. It's so reliable, and it never chops in my hands. It also looks pretty cool.
The only problem with it is I'm afraid to use it playing rough(because it looks so nice lol).

You do realize this topic is like asking how many people on a Chevy discussion board have Fords?

*and he says as his man-berries shrink*

I have a 2K2 sniper that has been converted to a stock class feed and tuned to run on 12 grams.

*then he rejoices as his man-berries grow back to full size*

But I just bought an E-mag!!!!!

                    I use

                    2 sniper's
                    Outkast cocker
                    E-bladed Free Flow

I love my cockers no matter how they are set up and love the wierd looks I get from people when they see the pnuematics moving.

There are definitely some nice mech 'cockers out there. One guy came to my field with a sweet mech 'cocker, he could probably get a good 12bps out of it without trying too hard. One kid with an Angel was scared to play against him.

I have a CCM S5 I built into my idea of an ultimate mech 'cocker a while back when I built my electro cocker and thought I'd miss the mechanical feel ... it stays in my bag most of the time, and now that I have a pneumag ... it might never see the light of day

                          Don't like e-cockers.

Think about it, an electro-cocker is a hacked version of a hacked gun. It's a sniper with a pneumatic semi conversion that got it's bits chopped off and converted to electro. Screw that.

I don't even like hinge frames. Gimme a cocker with a nice slider and i'm happy, or a sniper with a nice slider or a DYE/CCM single hinge frame.

My main marker is an e-cocker, but also have a pre 2k mini (SN# 413) custom by Danny Love, and have a 2k2 mech cocker with hinge frame, and soon to have a 99 STO that my g/f bought for me, and my g/f also just bought herself a mech cocker cause her main gun is an e-cocker also, and now a PGP1 for pump/stock class games
