He wasn't charged with anything that I'm aware of. each state has different laws on how you can handle traspassing. i know it's against the law supposely to fire a paintball marker in town but i'm pretty sure it's a case by case. pretty sure the cops were glad he didn't use deadly force and probably got a kick out of it.

If it were me I think I would probably just have taken a picture and given it to the police rather than risk assault charges.

But up here in Canada it's against the law to do anything (pretty much) to people tresspassing so I don't know how that works stateside.

I guess it stands to reason that the more "progressive" states will have more restrictive laws on private property protection.

It ran in the Ada Evening Newspaper in Ada, OK. The funny part of it all is it's like a couple blocks up from my house. the town is only about 16,000 people.

But seriously, there is a huge discussion over on the MCB forums, about the laws and how paintball marker should and shouldn't be use. I think the biggest factor in it all is that he pretty much did everything short of calling the cops to get her to leave before using the paintball marker. when all options were use he tagged her.
