I was putting a reg on a tank I just picked up. It threaded about halfway into the tank by hand w/ no problem. It got a just a touch tight as I was screwing it in, I stopped and tried to take it out, and now it is stuck. I cannot get it loose by any means that I know. I have put an oil filter wrench on the tank and tried to get the reg with an adj. wrench to no avail. Tried a pipe wrench with a piece of rubber in between to protect the tank. The rubber just slips.
What can I do to get this off?
