    bolt on pneu frame

i just bought a 90* pneuframe on ebay, and the c-clip won't stay on the piston. i was thinking of supergluing it. do you think that's a good idea? if I'm really careful and don't get any superglue inside the piston, shouldn't it be fine? anybody else ever have this problem?

if the clip is bad, you need a new mpa-3. no way around it that i know of.

the clip was probably just squeezed to toght when pullin it out of the actuator.

pull it out and spread it apart a little,

it may take a while, but there no need in waiting a week to shoot this marker.

/i hate waitin for the mail.
//so i left and missed my package
///now i have to wait longer

Check the groove the clip sits in, if it is not damaged then Olinar's suggestion is probably spot on. If it is damaged then you will either need another MPA3 or maybe you could drill 3-4 holes radially just in front of the retainer and put set screws in to hold it.

thanks guys. i'll check the groove. im hoping the previous owner didn't dremmell too much of the meat away, something pneumagger warned against i believe in the video he made.

theres should still be enough meat, if there wasn't the c-clip wouldn't stay in from the beginning... but if you look at it and there is no groove left that that's a problem...... Superglue is a bad Idea because there are o-rings in the piston and if you super glue the piston in they will be irreplaceable...

as you can see, the rod is coming out of the piston because the C-clip is not there to hold it in. Im going to try olinar's advice and i'll update if it solves the problem.
