    Warp Feed Questions

Sorry to bother you guys but i need a little help. I bought the last red warp feed on pbgear and just wanna get some info.

About how fast does an AGD warp with a Halo feed?

Does the feed rate change depending on the loader used with the warp?

Other than a 12v mod are there any other real performance upgrades (not functionality upgrades) for warps?

How well does the warp elbow work in most feednecks and is there something better out there to use than the stock part?

A long time back i saw Doc had a warp "feedneck" on an empire timmy (i think) which was just a short tube that an elbow could slide onto. Does anyone know of any places that sell a threaded part like that?

    Thanks

The warp can feed up to 22bps, but it is limited by how fast your hopper will feed.

Does the feed rate change depending on the loader used with the warp?

Again, if the hopper can only feed 18bps, the warp will only feed 18bps.

Other than a 2 9volt harness are there any other real performance upgrades (not functionality upgrades) for warps?

You could do the 12v mod for it.

I use the Q-Loader 90 degree elbow. It's much smaller than the warp elbow.

    No, sorry.

    Thanks
    Good luck with your warp!

Shoulda been a little more clear on the 12v mod, thats what i was refering to with the 2 9v.

Ill look into that elbow you mentioned.

Im pretty sure a machinist or something around here can make the warp feedneck for me if i wanted it.

It's not hard at all. You can take off the little peice with the tightening screw (kinda....Cut it off is a better word) and it fits right in there.

one thing that i really recommend is an on/off switch. i, in the near near future, am going to send it to lukescustoms for that mod. i have my warp currently on vibration sensor (it moves when you shoot) and it gets annoying removing the battery every time i want to turn it off, or setting my gun on the table, causing the warp to move.

threaded? no. but there is this, which i will use on my vertical feed guns where the feed neck doesn't come off and the warp bracket doesn't fit over. http://www.actionvillage.com/is-bin/...AAD37D%2elA_2t

yup. just cut the feed neck off of a viewloader and it'll work. fits into the feedneck and the 90* fits over it too.

Just to clarify the warp will feed faster than the hopper feeding it which has been said all along because it is feeding into empty space rather than starting and stopping waiting for the bolt to get out of the way. My warp with 12 volt input with an egg on low speed never skips a beat, where and egg on its own will miss shots (especially on low speed).

Yeah im gonna prob end up sending it in for the on/off mod with led that luke offers. Im gonna look around for a machinist that can make a warp ftub feedneck so i can make the profile as small as possible.

i do believe doc made cocker threaded 90* warp feed necks. and the halo is overkill with a warp, trucks me i have a warp with hao and its like carring around a cinder block.

Well ill see what setup i like best I have a vlocity jr as well that i may use. Ide use a revvy but i just can rely on it to feed fast enough.

The revy should be just fine, I asked Tyger about his warp on several occasions and he only uses the revy on his warp. And he's made that thing sing at 15 bps without skipping, if you watch his castle conquest vid on his site (www.webdogradio.com) you can see him do it.

The revy can pull off that feed rate since the warp basically makes it a high-rise with a long ball stack to feed into the gun. Give it a try, you might like it.

This comming from a guy with a Revy and a halo...and sometimes I still use the revy.

Id just use a revvy but it wont work for me at all times. The warp can only feed as fast as the balls going into it can feed. I play with ramping a lot (usually uncapped) so i need something that can go decently fast.

RogueFactor makes an adapter for standard ULE bodies to adapt the warp feed to:

                          http://www.themagsmith.com/store/ind...d&productId=63

AGD also has special bodies for the Warp Feed, both in Classic Powerfeed style and ULE style:

And Pro Team Products makes a Warp Feed Adapter out of aluminum:

Im well aware of the different style mag bodies and stuff but the warp isnt going on a mag.

The PTP adapter isnt quite what im looking for but it may work better than the stock warp part.

Ok, got the warp feed today and everythign seems to work great. I just have a few questions before i stop bothering you guys.

When i connect the 12v mod to the regular harness and connect 2 9v batteries the warp will just run continuosly, does anyone know what the problem may be?

Lastly, i just need some sort of adpater to connect the warp hose to my feedneck. Id buy the one from PTP but honestly i believe the 30-40 price tag is insane for such a part. Any help would be great.
