Yeah, we have ALL seen it. Seeing as this is only your 5th post, I wont light ya up. Welcome to the forum.
Due to the objections of a certain Canadian, this space is now for rent.

own both..well my dad does, ran it for a while as a q-bow but what we ended up doing was stripping it down from this:

          to this
          (bad pictures)
If you can't see we took off thw stock and shroud and run it with a tank on the gun, makes it a lil heavier but a lot more easy to move around and shoot out of both hands and swing around for close range stuff.

it's an interesting thing i guess, he likes it cause it's similar to a stock class gun but with the a semi action when he needs it.

The q-loader thing is awful though IMO. We never could get the hose right, it would always jam because we couldn't get the hose to be correct

O and cause he uses so little paint we make him cart around paint for the rest of our team hence the vest lol

My longbow is fairly similar to your dads, I run my air on gun (so much more maneuverable than with the remote) I still use the shroud and stock though. I got the q-loader too. The stock hose is a huge PiTA. I ended up buying a couple feet of the super warp hose. Works like a dream now and it fits the q-loader sockets.

i was gonna try that, i've got a warp laying around here jsut never got around to it, and he decided he liked the stick feed better anyways. Actually the mag well just broke so I have to call spec-ops and hope they'll replace it.

I have always liked springfed guns. How easy is the sprigfeed on the longbow to reload and/or replace while in the game?

fairly easy, there's a small pin that locks it in, push it in and pull and it slides ight out, then slam a new one in and your good. biggest downside IMO is the lack of an effective carrying metod. They sell a thigh holster that IMO is EXTREMLY uncomfortable. My dad uses 3 mags, one on the gun and two in the squegge holsters on his ultraiight pants. Another player at our field had a custom vest made for him by specops that has the holsters on the back similar to a pod pack, but he says it's still hard to pull all the way out

yea the one time i used i that's what i did. I found the mags were getting in way when I'd kneel or try to tuck in tight.

The Q-bow seems like a pretty cool set up to work with. I might to get the kit, after im finished workin on my EgoMag. Heck i could try making a pnuenmatic Q-bow that would be pretty cool.

If you go Q-bowish route you might want to consider getting a warp left/right /w a T2W stock.

Gives you a VERY nice line of view down the marker, mask clearance, and it's not as heavy as Warden from the SpecialOps forum attests to.

And you can move your T2W stock to any other mag/marker if you ever decide to go that route.
