AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Considering a production version of the Machado rail...
Yo Tyson! Where ya been bud? Give us some details, why dont ya!?!
I've started an engineering career, bought a house, and had two kids since the last time I carved anything. I haven't even had a chance to play in almost four years! Once in a while I check out AO just to see what's up. I still have all my gear. I'll get back into the sport, and custom work, eventually. I won't hijack your thread with too many details
I'm surprised and flattered that there's still enough demand that you'd consider a production run of the sharktooth. If you decide to go ahead with it I'm sure they'll come out well.
Hard to say, because the ULE Tac rail is cut from a RT rail. The Machado rail is cut from an Automag/MiniMag rail.
Its also about how much material can be removed. The AGD ULE Tac rail was about removing as much material as possible. Which is why its not too good looking. Aesthetic designs require more material to carve from, and will be inherently heavier.
