    warp L or R with Q-Loader ? Advice

I am a right handed shooter....

Was wondering with a Tac-One Warp feedneck and a Q-Loader system do you want to...

A: Warp Left feedneck...this puts the Q-Loader hose in towards your body...maybe this would keep the hose more protected...but could bump into your body/arm

B: Warp Right feedneck...this puts the Q-Loader hose on the "outside" of the marker...away from your body...could the hose be more prone to getting snagged on something this way?

    what do you think?

I really like to site down the left side of my gun when I shoot so I would say warp R. And if you sight down the top I would put it whichever way makes it the most compact from your usual shooting position.

Using the q-loader right out of the box (Without the CMS) mounted under the barrel, WR is my preferred choice. I, too, am a right handed shooter.

I have a warp left with the CMS socket with the hose really tight to the body. I'm right-handed. I love it and have no issues with it. I'm also setup to switch between the qloader and a warp setup. Having a warp left allows me to do that pretty easily. Here are a pic of each setup (nothing original, others use similar setups):
          Qloaded

          Warped

Another thing that should factor into your decision is the socket itself. The stock socket (if mounted on the vert grip) puts the hose on the right side. The CMS socket will allow you more freedom cuz it allows you to rotate it to any angle you need, plust it comes with a variety of brackets.

If you go right, use the Standard Mounting Socket. If you go left, use the Custom Mounting Socket. I had a WR setup on my ULE mag and have a top feed setup on my E-Mag. QLoader takes a bit getting used to but thats minor compared to the lower profile and better balance you get. If you need any help feel free to shoot me a PM or visit our QLoader forum.

I use mine with a warp left and I put a lot of thought into it. It would clear you line of sight a tiny bit to feed on the right but its not worth sticking out when shooting right. I personally dont like the under barrel setup. You have to reach too far forward to reload. Here is what I have put together after much rearrangement. Lets you shoot left just like a warp, without switching hands.

I used a warp mounting plate and the UMS.

It was a PITA to get in there! I used a rag and a pair of adj pliers It will go, you just have to put some elbow grease into it. A little soap on the threads will help too.

I put the hose on the left and I'm a righty. Why reduce my profile only to hang a hose out the side of the bunker?

Exactly. Though I find that a front loading setup lets you keep your marker on target while reloading.

Because, for me, the convenience, balance, and comfort from the under mount style outweighs any downsides from this style.

And the fact that even if that portion of the hose that 'sticks out' wasn't there, those shots would just hit my mask instead of the hose.
