I wouldn't. Wood is heavy and I don't like the look of it.

Agreed, i say nay to the wood stock idea. Now if you could get different style composite stocks and put mag parts in them i may be interested.

i agree something composite would be nice.
        wood is too heavy imo
now a carbon fiber stock would be nice!

I actually like the look of these....but fear wood might just be too heavy.

It's not a rifle. There is basically no recoil. Why have a stock at all?

I like stocks for stability...even with no recoil.

Just stating my opinion. I don't think they are worth anything.

It was worth MOTM last month

I say do what YOU want. Not every marker can be the fastest, or lightest, or most expensive. But it can be perfect for you. I think it would look awesome if you take your time and do it right.

yes, i do believe that there should be some sort of "FULL STOCK" mag conversion. I created my own, which won MOTM. The stock is for feel and stability, growing up as a hunter i feel more comfortable holding a paint "rifle" over holding a "regular" mag. Im going to be creating a full write up on my Mag M14 rifle as soon as i get some spare time with school. I will try to include as many specs as i can, and possibly a video.

But as for the weight of wood....

suck it up and haul it around.
or create a nice fiberglass one, but that adds more money.
sumthinwicked has a BEAUTIFUL stock blank for sale that just beggs for a mag drop in.

                        EDIT:
not really trying to advertise but, i do custom mag/stock conversions for a price. if anyone is interested let me know.

I would like a woodstock on a phantom. Now that would be sick.

For me...I just like the feel of them...and everyone knows you shoot better when you feel comfortable with your setup
