Paintball Sams in Wisc. this weekend

the only thing I cannot stand about Sams is their paint pricecs. $88 for a case of Diablo Blaze is just insane....

Saturday is out for me, but Sunday is a go. I need to get rid of 3 bags of their old pink/grey paint.

Hysperion- The prices might seem high, but look at it this way... if pick up a year long membership for $50.00, you don't pay for anything other than paint and air. At Dave's, even members have to pay $10.00 to play. Also, I tend to shoot a lot less paint at Sam's. 1/2 case is pretty normal for a full day, while I go through 3/4+ of a case at Dave's.

I stopped going to Sam's just because of the paint prices. The only thing I might ever go to at Sam's are the big games... never been to one and I heard they are great.

Check out the big games, they are great. I drive 7 hours from Minneapolis for em, and have been for 9 years.

I'll be there both days. You know me, 2-3 times a week is normal I'll also be at daves indoor friday night. I can't wait to get outdoors so I can come back up over 240fps again

They better have good paint for the spring big game. The paint at the fall game last year was horrible!!! Everybody I talked to was breaking paint. There was even some discussion about it here. I do not have a problem paying the price for the paint there because the big games are so fun, I do however expect to have quality paint for the prices they charge.

Yeah that paint was bad in fall, however i believe that there was some reaction by sam's to get credit for the crappy paint or something.... not sure all the details on that.

Rumor had it that the credit for half a million rounds of paint was about a hundred bux. Now if that's an exaggeration I'm not sure. They've since stopped carrying PMI. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see blaze or inferno at BG-1 since they have blaze only right now.

I know Nikki has been talking with Diablo for the paint for the upcoming BG and we should get a good batch not like anything PMI every gave her. As for the paint prices, you really can not find it any cheaper then that. I've been to alot of the fields around here and that is one of the cheapest paint prices around.

Besides of course probably the closest field to there. Dave's has cases for 75 bux... or 67.50 with membership. Not trying to point out faults, because I don't care about paint prices. Sams is worth the extra bux imho because the fields are much better and more plentiful.

nah $100 is lowballing animal, the rumor I heard said $113 ....Joker, dave's lifetime membership is $80....sams is $50 for one year. (I've got memberships to both)....but reguardless of how much or how little we shoot, $88 is still a rip off for a case of Blaze no matter how you put it ..but you know I'll be there because I love the speedball field...I've still got a bag of the old paint, like 3 months old I don't think I'm gonna run it through my SFL though...maybe I'll do what TK said with the cup of water in the bag and try the bounce test to see if it's worth salvaging. Been sitting in a dry closet a long time.....
