    New speed feeding system

    Anyone seen this?

Could we be seeing this at World Cup? Reminds me of the much bulkier fast loading pods that JT (or was it DYE?) had released years ago.

doesnt look like those pods were full, curious if you need some space in order for it to feed corectly. otherwise it looks hot!

Metal? Probly more durable, but it looks like it's kind of beefy and therefore way heavier than a normal lid. Idkn how much weight I'd want to add to the blimp on the top of my gun.

the levers on the pod could cause problems.

I don't see why it wouldn't be possible to make it all plastic. Maybe its in metal for prototyping? But if its in metal, prolly thin aluminium so would be light and not much weight difference compared to plastic anyway.

I managed to find their post on PBN with some info and vid. Looks like they made some slight revisions to it.

They also have it up on ebay:

The cost is pretty damn high with the time savings being neglibible at best. They are making them out of aluminum and the final product will be smaller/lighter than the one in the vid. Prob is if you lose some or have some stolen its gonna cost a lot to replace them.

I told em to focus on just a good aluminum speed feed but they seem to think they are right and anyones opinion other than their little group is wrong.

Yes, JT did already try something similar and it flopped big time.

hmmm im tempted to try it but i dont use enough paint in a game to justify spending 45 on it for 1 pod lid and one hopper lid, if i burn a hopper full im shooting a lot

also the weight isnt that much at all

It's not the weight total smart one. It's the balance. Putting more weight on the back of the hopper will throw off the balance of the gun.

Yeah... I don't even play speedball where I need to be able to reload quickly, but it looks to me like this is a system where everything needs to be lined up PERFECTLY. You can't just flip the lid and pour in the balls. Sure, you don't lose a few in the process, but you still have to make sure everything's lined up right. For a serious speedballer, I think the cons outweigh the pros.

                            meh...

will these work with normal tube loaders, or do you have to have the top and hopper parts to make this system work?

Over engineered waste of money if you ask me - go buy the speedfeed pods form JT , they can be had for a few bucks now a days, are repaired using a rubber band, and best of all nobody wants to steal them
