I'm up for them. Been thinking for quite some time that they needed a 50 round pod. Even possibly a 75 round pod.

Hmm. That'd make a badass pistol 'mag. I'd probably buy a few pods.

Hate to burst the bubble here.. but I can say this is a product NOT in the making (at the moment at least).. Steve has said multiple times that he's got other projects that he is working on first. (and which from a buisiness standpoint are more sound)

Although I must admit.. I've been toying with the idea of messing with a few of my pods.

They are talking about Qloader pods. Not pods and hoppers in general.

well theorhettically speaking...if you only wanted half a [Q]Pod, then you'd only need half the internals of it. Load 50 balls in to the bottom and mark it off where you'd cut it to fit the cap...and do the same with the drive spring. See if it works...

Actually, we want them shorter too. It is a size issue.

That was me Ive sent Qloader several email in regards to this. The rep sait it costs $40K just for the molds. That soundes a little inflated to me but who knows. I would love to see them come out with these though. It would give us the option to run a loader in a traditional magazine fashion (vert under the chassis).

40K, actually isn't out of line. Place I worked had a mold for a plastic part. It was about a 3ft square block of aluminum. Cost them in the same neighborhood.

This was a madical company and they sold about 200 of these parts a week at a profit of about $45.00 each. The company dealt in more than just this item and made around 7m a year. Had 10 or less employees.

Narrower can't happen, the geometry would be very much messed up.. you get paintballs trying to move around a much tighter helix and you'll get massive jams.

well, maybe if they moved to a 5 ball stack, instead of 6.. but no way could it go down to 40 or less, you'd get perpindicular forces.
