    Pribor-3B meroka assault rifle

Would it be possible to manufacture a paintball/BB version of the Pribor-3B?

If so, it would be a cheaper substitute for an infantry squad paintball minigun providing the same firepower, maybe faster!!!!!!!. A similar weapon is seen in the videogame 'Duke Nukem 3D' if anyone knows what im talking about.

Infantry squad... this is paintball, not the Army/Marine Corps. Making a minigun would serve no purpose other than cool factor nor would it be a mass marketable item. Therefore, not cheap. It's also not like there's standardization of markers in scenario games. It's not like every squad has 5 guys with mechanical semis, one guy with a pump and one guy with an electro. Paintball works incredibly differently from real combat.

      I know that

But a 'nordenfelt gun' paintball marker would provide the 'Paintball Soldier' the firepower of 3/4 'riflemen'.

And yes, I know miniguns are totally useless outside movies/videogames, Although its military I suggest you look up for 'Project SALVO'. It was a project of multi barreled rifles designed to increase hitting probability and the rate of fire, It also revealed that any calibre larger than 5.56mm is unsuitable for a hand held rifle/machine gun with multiple barrels.

I just thought about bringing the same idea to the paintball industry.

The differences between warfare and paint ball aside most fields have excessive shooting rules for a reason. Remember; we do this for fun, not to kill people and break things.

Getting lit up by an an individual with a multi-barrel full auto marker may make me forget the rule about no physical contact carry out an up close and personal counseling session thereby inventing the multi-barrel, full auto suppository. And normally I am one of the cooler heads you'd find on the field.

Think about the application just because it can be done means it should be done.

First question to ask your self:

Do you want to be lit up by one?

                Well

The probability of getting overshot with that thing is 100% imho... and for that matter I usually shoot 17 bps and I have to be very careful not to overshoot!

Shoot me with 75 bps (or 64 bps which is shown above) and I definately would come beat the you know what out of them - and I were a ref I wouldnt allow them on the field without some sort of bps cap.

And to top it all off its totally unsafe..
