I upgraded My old school minimag minimag setup

I played 2 days of rec ball then went for another upgrade. I have a minimag with a retro valve and level x ( still leaking I am trying to tune it ) dye 10inch ultralight twistlock barrel, benchmark 2 finger frame, 12 volt revvy with xboard, 88ci 3000 psi Pure Energy tank with a Air America Raptor reg with proconnect and remote with a boblong air pressure gauge on my asa. At 1k psi I am ripping some nice strings. It works good, I just have to work out the kinks the level X is wasting a ton of air at the moment.

Is that an original type Dye barrel or an Ultralite/Boomstick? The old Dye barrels had a rather large bore if I remember mine correctly. Try using a better ball-to-barrel match, that should aid with the gas hogging problem a bit.

Its not a boomstick. It seems like an aluminum 10 inch. Maybe its an original.
