Can power feed barrels be converted to center feed?

I have several left or right feed barrels that i would like to use with my no rise centerfeed body. Can they be milled to work or am I out of luck?? Seems like another slot could be cut in them but I'm not sure. If so who could do them and about how much would it cost?

yes you can have another slot cut in them ...

in the past when i had a center feed body with twist lock barrles i just took a small drill bit 1/8" or so and drilled a little bit in the slot at the 90 degree angle. Just enough depth for the pin to lock but also allow the barrel to be removed. Worked for me.
