First time out with my newly up'd MiniMag

Well I finally made it to the field today with my new setup. I have a MiniMag with a Retro Valve with level 10 bolt (Originally level 7 bolt with minimag valve), with a 88cu 3000spi tank. I change out the pre set PE reg with an oldschool stianless steal AA raptor reg. I of course am sporting an original 12v revvy and my remote. I broke a few balls when I first was testing the new system out, but all my level ten orings are brand new and it probably just had to wear in. After that all my strings were breakfree. The poor revvy couldnt keep up sometimes. This was my 1st time using a rt type valve and it was a blast. Getting it to rapid fire was pretty easy. Well I mean its not hard with 1100 psi into the valve.

    My setup

Me with a dumb *** look on my face, but I am ready to rock

I got caught right in the face

This one took the cake today. This is the most painful string of hits I have ever received. We both came around a blind corner and bunkered eachother. The hits were from about 10-12 inches away. Yes blood was involved lol.

This is a video of me using the reactive trigger. I emptied my hopper. I still need to work on it a little bit, but overall I can shoot off some good strings.

I will be buying a bicycle grip next week. I just didnt have the money. I thought the level 10 and retro valve were higher priority.

ah, yes, same here. either it was to save my money for an x-valve or spend a bit to get a Retro Valve with level 10 before the next time i went since my classic valve was chopping. so, i understand where you're getting from. good luck man!

I love adjustable tanks on RT....its so fun.

I am using a centerflag 301 on my Xvalve, and it gets really fun at about 900PSI using the ULT. I had it tested at CFOA, making 26BPS, around 11-1200PSI. I turned the pressure down and got a pretty steady and easily obtainable 14-15BPS. Larry Motes told me to use it in the tourney, but alas the tanks reg seat decided to go out while we were staged up......but that is another story.

              Liked your video.

That's a nice, classic looking minimag

If you're going to run remote, might I suggest getting a gas-thru stock? It can make a surprising difference.

I was gonna say the same thing. But I just had to make the purse comment lol.

Seriously though, good job getting her to come. I actually got my gf to play one time only to get yelled at because I wouldn't double up in the snake with her lol. She was pissed that I left her alone and I explained that you can't double up in a bunker that small. I just ended up getting slapped lol.

I have been looking at stocks, but I like how small it is. I can tuck it in so close and get pretty small.
