difference in SM-1 and Orbium

I was under the understanding that the SM-1 and Orbium were nearly identical except for the porting pattern on the front of the barrel. Is there anyone that can tell me if there are any other differences.

I have heard that the backs are different lenghts, and that the "hubs" (middle piece) were also different.

And one other question. What happened to their website?

The SM1 site is temporarily down because the guy who is hosting the site is in the hospital with a health issues. From what I've heard he was due back out in next week or so....

It's not the SM Owner.... it's the webhoster for the SM site.

As to answer your other question.... I can't really. It may be best if you can find their phone number to give them a call.

hmmmmm not sure man.... my team is sponsored by SM and our teams website is hosted by the same guy that hosts SM site. That's how I know about it....

I'll find out the guys name today when I talk to the guy in the know...

And MANN.... sorry about the english deal. I understand where you are coming from. I personally don't deal with them at all yet cause A I'm new and B I haven't had to... my teammate goes through the process...

I had 2 SM1 kits, and sold both. They are alright, but there is defiently much better. I was only asking because I was discussing 3 piece barrels, and how they are pointless. Some think that gradual stepping increases accuracy, and I call BS. I know there are a few people here that have both kits, and figured Id ask people who had them if the backs/hubs are interchangeable.

Talked to him Friday.
Back in the hospital again.
He looks a lot better now.
Said the tests show that he's beat the leukemia but they found he
had a bacteria or something, that caused him to go back in there, when
he had just gone home.
So he's on the long road to recovery now.
