I think it just LOOKs heavy. Maybe a larger radius on all the edges would make it look lighter? Web photos are like TV, things look bigger. It's to help with online dating.

look at it this way. have you feel how heavy a z-grip weights? the whole goal was to be able to make a grip with the z-grip but intergrate a foregrip. make it compact to use with any rail and to make it weight less than the orginal z-grip. how many times have you run into the problem that you can't run a foregrip with your z-grip with the rail you have? if your worried about weight maybe mags are not for you. that's like a skinny girl saying she's fat. if you love your mag, then u'll bulk up to carry her to the field. i have never had a problem with the weight of my gun, so it really doesn't bother me that much. peace "P"

so your telling me a stronger person cannot bench press 135lbs more times that say someone who is less strong? If you are, i just wanted to use your term and say that was idiotic at best.

        me - 225lbs, 5'9 - bench 135lbs 18-25 reps to warm up
        my w/o partner brother in law - 170lbs, 6'2 - 5 reps at 135lbs and hes done......now

me lifting my mag that weighs 135lbs - 18-25 times in a speedball game

        or

him lifting the 135lb mag 5 times.

        it hurts....

then again the 5/5 production run is gone.

I see the purpose of the frame and I don't expect it would be too heavy, especially in a supported position like the grip lets you take. I think the weight game of a gram here and a gram there is pretty silly myself. By the time you add 200 rounds of paint and a 68 cu in bottle and reg., the extra ounces are not that big a deal to me.

Cosmetically though, do you not think with the edges a little more round, this frame would LOOK much lighter than just the loss of the metal? Jay may have looked at it on cad and decided it looked like [four asterisks], but it would be interesting to see.

i see alot of flexibility for the general form and actually removing elements (carving it out a bit more, like a complete hole where the cerebrus logo is, I mean 98% of people who care, which are Ao'ers will know your creation anywhere handsdown) to appear lighter, but i think it looks great.

Hey guys it is not the lightest frame on the marker by far lol but it looks much heavier in the pictures it is pretty compact lol I judge things ( not measure things) like this when it comes to my set ups if my gun with out a tank weighs more then say a halo or reloader b filled with balls then I have a weight issue but that is my 5'6" , 180 lb opinion (non noodle armed)

the front part where the Ceberus is etched in is where the gas through 1/8 hole is that conects the 2 air ports so the hole there if I removed it would not be that big, yes it would save weight but would take the gas through foregrip design out of play. Again the objective was to make a compact, different out of the norm gas through z grip style design

lol and I stated it was not for everyone, I encourage good and bad feedback on this. thank for your comments
