Air system while using a remote ?

Im gathering bits for my new project and trying to decide which air system i should use
I WILL be using a remote if that matters also i want to be able to set the mag up w/ r/t or bounce, is Crossfire for me or some other.

If you are going for bounce you will have to use an adjustable, not fixed reg setup. Make sure you get a remote rated for 3K psi....

you'll definitely want a tank reg that's adjustable, or at least able to get over 800 psi output. I'd say, either an older max-flo, flatline, or maybe even the new NitroDuck iReg.

You don't need an adjustable tank there are other options. Just call up crossfire order any PSI you want and they will build you any PSI regulator you want installed on the tank for the same price as a normal tank, 180$. I ordered one with 1025 psi and works like a charm

Is there a specific brand of tank an reg that you guys would recommend? im not all up on this stuff but i guess wieght and recharge rate are important to me, i want my mag to perform well ( duh ) while carrying the least wieght around, i have a camel back i carry my present tank in a 68 /3000 metal pmi i think it is , i would like to get something close to the same dimensions so it will fit well into the camel back, a guy at the pb store tried to sell me a pmi c/f 45/88 pmi, the size is about right but i dont know if the performance would be good.

I spoke today with a tech at CROSSFIRE , I had questions about thier regs , my 1st ? was do you use belville washers or springs in your regs his answer was springs , why the frown because I thought I would be stuck with 850 output .
The 2nd ? was can you at the factory change the output of the regs ? the answer :) , YES , I explained I was shootin Mag's an wanted a higher psi reg , now dig this he said he just set up a reg for a guy to use on a specific app. he set the reg output to 1300 psi , so me talking about getting a reg set up to 1k would be no problem

And does having a preset tank inhibit tuning a mag ?

1 Its according to the tank.

2 As has been said already having an adjutable is ideal

3 Crossfire tanks are good, never had a problem. There are some lighter choices on the market now as well.

I have a centerflag 420 reg I had shimmed to about 1200 psi, and I also have a centerflag dynaflow reg, the difference is the adjustable reg has a better recharge rate, but of course the difference only shows up to me at around the 25 / 26 bps rate, and that's pretty much beyond legal limits on any field anyways, good luck, and btw as far as a tank, if you using 3k psi, multiply the cubic inches by 10, thats your average shots per tank, for 4500 psi, multiply your cubic inches by 15, hope this helps.
