Best Nitro Setup For An RT? I Can't afford much...

My teammate has a powerfeed mag that he is planning on getting a RetroValve for. Right now he is using a cheapo screw in tank on his mag. From what i understand, the RT requires an adjustable tank, that is pretty high flowing. What is recomended for a person on a budget? Preferably a 4500 psi system. Thanks in advance for the help.

I use a pre-set on my retrovalve. It works great.

Yeah, pre-sets are fine. And on a budget - I'd go with the PMI Pure Energy 68cu/4500psi fiberwrap from paintballgear.com for about $190. Best deal around, and I've had nothing but good service from them, but some will say they're bad news, so if it makes you more comfortable, go with someone else.

CenterFlag DynaFlow tanks are 4500psi, and from what I hear, really nice, high flowing, fast recharging, very consistent systems. They are like $350 though.

I myself was planning to get a CenterFlag Hyperflow 68/4500 screw in, but now I'm looking at the 68/3K Flatine, how many shots could you get off one of those with an RT, anyone know?

I agree with OldSchoolMag. My PMI Pure energy has been pretty much flawless - I've used a buddy's Angel Air Tank on my Minimag just to mess with it for giggles and I noticed no difference in the way the marker shot, but that whole electronic shots left thing is killer. dang elves at it again.

              AA Raptor Baby!!!

One great flowing reg, Light, adjustable, oh yeah and you can get it used for like 130-150 on the forums

I got my 68 raptor AA 3000PSI for 130 with cover and cradle... great tank really :-)

Only thing they lack is a good ON/OFF but you can get a slidecheck/quickdisconnect for like 20 bucks new or a proconnect

crossfire 68/4500 or 68/3000, either is a great price and work great! used both on a RT RTpro E-mag and micro emag and Micro Rt 2000, always have worked fine for me. Just make sure the output is around 800psi

Check out the new Crossfire screw in tanks, there was a Mpeg on their site showing no shootdown whatsoever on an Angel... An' they are cheap in price. Personally I use a PMI 68/3k, but will be getting my 88/4.45K soon.
