they all look decent except the mini...
the mini doesnt have enough curves and densities and looks rather plain compared to the others

I'm glad they are doing only 5.. if they keep producing these then the rarity of them goes away and it'll just be a run-of-the-mill type of thing that no one really cares about anymore.

I think it's too late anyway, you can get an aurora parts kit for any 07 ego, and the pm7 has an aurora finish avalible, and the sl74 has an aurora option...it's already becomming main stream as it is.
but it dosn't bother me, I don't really like the look of aurora...just not my thing I guess.

i don't think they will ever become a mass-production given how dangerous and expensive it is to create the finish.Originally posted by 93civiccpeI'm glad they are doing only 5.. if they keep producing these then the rarity of them goes away and it'll just be a run-of-the-mill type of thing that no one really cares about anymore.

Expensive, yes, dangerous, no. PE was either full of it about the failure/destruction rate, didn't have a freaking clue how to do it the right way, or it got blown out of proportion and spread as truth. It is done with effectively a 100% success rate.Originally posted by rkjunior303i don't think they will ever become a mass-production given how dangerous and expensive it is to create the finish.

Their site is back up.
I love the Aurora finish my only problem is that whatever marker you do + $2k for the Aurora you would have a hard time making that back. I don't mean buy a new gun that will lose value right away, I mean take an Xmag at $1000-$1300 that most likely will retain its value for years to come. Add the Aurora finish you now have $3000 in a marker that very few people could afford.
An Xmag or Karta would look sick with this finish though
