vert foregrip attaching?

I was considering purchasing a vertical foregrip for my mag. To attach a vertical foregrip or vert adapter, I see a screw that looks like it goes through the body rail somehow. My body rail has no hole or anything, so I was wondering...how do I attach it? Do I have to drill a hole in the body rail or something?

Yes, you need to drill a hole. There should be a half-punched hole in the body-rail already. You need to just drill it through.

Some rails come with the hole already drilled out...some don't.

I did mine with a big nail and a hamer, and this worked OK. Than I finished it off with a drill.
