    wood phantom grip??

    i was perusing ebay and found this: http://tinyurl.com/253b4w

    can anyone help me ID that wood grip on the bottom phantom?

    PM Kruger. He might know what wood this is. Looks like Snakewood to me but could be a dyed wood.

      Not sure who made the grip, probably Shartley, but the wood is called "Pakkawood", I think. I think that this one is called Peperwood, but hard to tell from the small pic. Basically, it is colored, laminated wood and comes in almost every color combination that can be imagined. The Smart Parts wood grips are made from this type of wood. You can get it from places that sell Knife making supplies. Hope that helps.
