Ok, that's what i was planning to do anyway, only i am gonna have mine upside down compared to yours so i can use the foregrip, or put it on the right side of the gun if i can get my hand in there.Il n'y a point de sots si incommodes que ceux qui ont de l'esprit.

I'm gettign one of those cms sockets in the sp8 mod the guy recommended, he basically said it was the same price as what I had ordered but I get more stuff. Also gettign a standard socket so I can run another gun of my choice with the Q pods. Ahh now to decide: the alien, the classic rt, or something else? To many possibilities... excited to try it out. Any advice for us first timers, besides the usual rtfm?

I downloaded the Q manual but STILL i dont get the prewind thing.
Do you do the prewind with the spring outside of the pod ? or just slip the bottom of the spring mechanism out of the hole at the bottom prewind and reinsert ?
Looking in the manual its shows a nut at the bottom of the spring , mine does NOT have one. Am i missing peices , or maybe thats a diff. between !st an 2nd design ?
WELL i do seem to be missin my NUTS, i have nothing for the bottom end of the spring ,looks like i got takin advantage of, an will need More stuff, i guess 20bux a pod isnt to bad, but still, grrrrrrrrrLast edited by FOG; 12-12-2007, 01:42 PM.

NO, there is NO NUT... Or to be grammatically correct.... YES there is NO NUT.
The gens 1's do not have a nut at the bottom of the guide rod that you can adjust and you shouldn't have to adjust it. Just so you know if you ever get a Gen 2 pod.... Anyway, there is no nut on the bottom of Gen 1's...
I'm trying to dig into my brain to find out if I can recall how to OHHHHHH YEAH!!!! I somewhat remember.... You put the pod together like you are ready to put it on the gun....
With NO spring tension twisted into it.... There is compression tension, but not twist tension.
You have to pull the CAP off of the pod VERY gently and slowly until you can get it past the notch on the side that indexes it for the socket. You have to make sure and keep it straight and connected and have to make sure that you keep that little black toothed gear at the top of the pod.... Now you need to twist the cap all together twisting up the spring.
Now as you put about 15 or so turns on it you need gently slide the cap back down onto the pod where it will seat properly. Now you should have a sprung spring inside the pod with the little white follower ball at the top of the spiral drive piece.
Does that help ya???
Let me know if ya need more info....

Summary, i think i love you for posting that option, now i'm gonna do that on my rt.
On a side note, i guess mags are just famous among people from a northern european background, although i don't have hairy arms, i was "fortunate" enough to have it all go to my legs and chest.Il n'y a point de sots si incommodes que ceux qui ont de l'esprit.

I took a lil tour thru Summaries putfile, NICE collection ! dude.
During my research of Qloaded markers it has surprised me just how sharp the turns in the feed hose can be.
I got mine all setup this eve an have NO air.
But tomorow i will
I LOVE my Qloaded Micromag ! The balance is awesome w/o a blimp on top ive found.
My wife has been laffin at me as i sneak around the house w,my setup. Seeing just how lil i show now when aiming around corners
, BOYZ an there TOYZ she says

I'm not hairy... am I still an AOer? Lol... Summary which mounting piece is being used there? I was thinking I'd have to have a custom bracket made to run it out of the RT sight rail holes... I'm planning on doing that with this pneumag build I've got in the works.
Here's what I've got kickin at the moment:

Was an easy setup with the warp plate. Great placement too. Although it wasn't pushing out the last ball. I just did a click forward in the loading socket without paint before loading it up. That seemed to work, but I'm guess I should do a proper prewind instead... ohh well I had it rockin today on 3shot burst. Can't wait to play with it.

Nice set-up!
It's the L-shaped bracket with the slot for the mounting screws. Since there are no pre-determined holes for the screws, that slot allows for some forward and backward flexibility. I have the flat side of the bracket with the slot against the rail and the other part that comes out at the 90* angle towards the back of the gun, allowing the Q-loader to face forward.
You can also adjust how close the pod loader is to the body of the gun as well. As you can see in the above pic, I allow myself a little space to get my hand between the loader and the gun body to grab the foregrip and use the loader as an extra point of stability (I'm right handed, but holding with left). I haven't used this set-up in at least a couple of years
, but it worked well last time I used it.
EDIT:
I prefer the loader mounted along-side the gun or behind it somehow (around the tank). I find that the under-barrel approach to make the gun to front heavy for my preferences......I have noodle arms

Lol nice, thanks for the tips. Broke a ball while messin about with the Q today... I was lucky enough to catch it right as I had inserted the pod, but before I twisted it to allow the balls to flow. So that saved me the extra task of cleaning the socket and hose. I'm hoping it was down to just the rec sport low grade paint I was using for my trial run. It broke on the inside of the socket I think when the pod tensioned up.
Lol since bronze doesn't seem to want to break on target it will hopefully stay whole in the pods too. I wish I could test this out tomorrow on the field but my knee is messed up. I'm hope the weather man is right as he's predicting rain. Otherwise I might be seen limping about while holdin my euro-x. Well I take that back since I know many Aoers are having fun out at Blanding... still I should rest my knee and not risk further injury. Maybe I'll just pack my euro-x for anno so I won't be tempted to play w/ it.

That would be like putting a chastity belt on your wife just cause you're injured though, it's just wrong!Originally posted by ThotographLol nice, thanks for the tips.
