wha is different about the halo on the black mini?
yup pulse guts fit halo shells and raceway
my pulse cracked in half and I had a parts halo, it goes togther straight forward and there is no permant mods.
it feeds nice

Hmm, thats interesting. But im wondering if the button on the bottom had to have a hole drilled in for it to fit there. I didnt have my pulse long enough to tear it apart so idk much about it.

you have solved my problem i wanted to RF my emag but didnt like pulse's look, and the magna is jsut too expensive.

when I tried to get mine done at dxs they told me it would be a 2 month turn around. and they would not just ship me shells, I had to pay to ship my loaders to them and they would install them and ship it back.

I did have to drill the hole for the reverse switch but you could also just use the halo rip drive.

after doing this I can see why dxs got sued, the parts are interchangeable (gears.pullys.motor ect)

I did this mod myself using a Powerlyte Cranium shell. Works great. I put the reverse button in the hole where the rip drive is suppose to go (had to widen the hole a little).

Everything is interchangeable except for the pulley (Pulse pulley is a little too long...need a halo pulley). If you want to use the pulse drive cone (which I prefer), you need to cut down the drive shaft (which takes seconds using a dremel).

Other than that, this is a great mod.


I did this when DXS was waiting to be restocked on parts and taking 3+ months to replace broken shells. This mod just eliminates any dependencies on them.

yea it does that, but it gets rid of the pulse raceway, which for me has been more reliable than my halo raceway... (I will explain)

the halo raceway loves to jam on me, constantly, I have changed everything inside of my halo and it just jams like mad, it got a little better when I switched over to sound activation on the reloader B2, but it still jams frequently, the pulse raceway is the only one that I have had that has not jammed yet...

I just contacted procaps, and I hope they reply back, because a new pair of shells would be awesome for my pulse.
