They are in, and they look great!
The first thing I tested was paint matching. I noticed my 688 JT insert had a more loose and free fit vs my Boomy's supposive standard 688 bore. Very odd, how the Boomy had a tight fit. hmmm... no engraved bore on a Boomy = standard 688 right?
Another thing I noticed was that the 688 JT insert had the same fit as the 690 insert, I wonder if I should have just got one rather than the other. another hmmm...
I will be shooting it this weekend, I have 2 bore (688 and 690) with 2 tips (14 and 10). I will let everyone know on how it works.
