AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Deter-It is simply the thickness of the shells. They have NO scent and don't come as hard as a lot of cheap paintballs. I think what you're trying to get to is the buck lure paint... I've had this stuff and it's quite nasty. The CORN scented is GREAT though...smells like buttered, roasted corn...makes me hungry.
A bunch of us socal guys got lit up one game at a hsp rec day with apple scented paint, mainly because we all wandered off the break like a bunch of drunks, it did smell a bit more when we were cleaning it off. Never been shot with banana or orange
I saw a thread in the pbnation news forum about stink bomb paintballs. Basically the paintball just smells like rotten eggs. I wanted to buy a bag of them and just drop them all over my school.
A few months ago I played with a teen who had a phantom with apple sented paintballs. Asked him why he said because it's funny and at that rate of fire it's not expensive. That and he can also tell who he shot by asking them to smell the hit.
About 2 years back, i ran into a guy that had some tuti-fruiti scented paint. The guy pretty much kept a stream of paint right at the the bunker where i was, and the ref had to come over a few times for a paint check. Every time he ran over, he ran right through a nice cloud of pink tuti-fruiti mist. When I finally got hit, the ref was pretty vocal in his disappointment 'cause tuti-fruiti guy shifted to the other side of the field. Honestly, i dont know whether or not i was more disappointed that i got hit, or that i had to leve the tuti-fruiti cloud. On a couple occasions since then, ive searched the net for tuti-fruiti paint, but i've had no luck.
