Magna Review Part 1 on EMag

Well i wanted to try one of these out for my own reasons. I really wanted the RF capabilities but always hated the Pulse. I always like how far back the egg sat on my previous gun, allowed me to sit tighter. Well i got a good offer on my vlo +$$ for a magna and rf kit so i picked it up.

Installation was painless plugged it in into the warp port and it worked :banana:

The bad:
On other guns i dont think it will fit quit well. the back part aligns perfectly for a mag. other guns i could see it working or it hitting your googles. Works for my guns so who cares right?



This weekend i can hope to play so i can say how it does in game VS my previous hoppers a Vlocity.

Oh and yes she does play, her mag (with my junk on it) waiting for another dynaflow for her gun and someone to sell a cheap hoppers but guys at the field always would have loaners for her so doesnt really matter:

oh also, it does harm your view unless you hold you gun such that the feedneck is level with your eyes, then you should ahve no issues, like its being held above.

thats how i shoot anyways. i am looking for a new hopper, either this one or the JRNY

One thing I have to say though is that it's so big. even though it sits back, it seems like such a big target for your opponents. just my $.02. I guess that's why I have been sticking with the Egg, instead of a Halo. I don't really shoot faster than 12-15bps, so it's not really an issue, I guess for me.

yea you are right, but because it sits far enough back you should be able to hide it behind the bunker vs a regualr hopper

Not entirely fond of the Magna after checking it out in person, and mounting it on my SFL... Gonna hold out for the JRNY.

it came down to thoose 2 for me (jrny and magna) and i got a deal on the magna. and I always wanted to try out this rf stuff.
