    Palmer's Brass Barrel

So i went to Palmer's today to drop off an Autococker i got off Ebay to have it tuned and new pneu put on it. Just for the heck of it I asked if they had any Twist lock barrels and Lori looked at me with a confused face and said " i dont think so but let me check" wehn she came walking back out she said "this is the last one". She handed me a 12 inch nickel ported barrel I knew that form past visits that they had some plastic nubbens so i asked of one and to my shock....... the nubben grove was milled wrong but not to worry a wire nubben works fine. Glen Palmer just happen to be intoday and when i told him about the milling being wrong he looked at it and dropped his cancer stick right out of his mouth and busted up laughing. i also asked how much it would cost me to have some made and his reply was that right now their is no demand for them so he was not going to re-tool to make just one or two. My question is how many of you AOer's would like a twist lock Palmer Brass barrel?? I am guessing that we would have to have at least 50-100 barrels sold in order to make it worth their time. So let me know and maybe we could do some kind of preorder. Here are the pics

sorry to bump, but count me in for at least 1 if this goes through. Maybe 2 if the price is like standard cocker threads

I am going to go in on Monday and find out what the deal is. I havent heard form them in 3 weeks. i am sure my cocker is done by now. As soon as i find out i will let every one know. I am thinking that they will want at least 50 sold before they will retool.

How much was it? I'd take an 8 inch unported one anyday.

8" would be so totally inefficent. Get them done in 11-12" max...

I'm thinking about aesthetics, i use an 8 inch crown point, which has 5 inches of useful barrel, if anything an 8 inch unported would give me the same look and feel (not one for long barrels) but a lot better efficiency.

Aw, I email them like a month ago asking if they had any twist-lock barrels. They replied saying they didn't have any . I ended up getting a Lapco Stainless
