ULE: gloss black vs dust black????

On the AGD website there is a option for a "black -$10" ULE. However i have seen ULEs that are glossy, and ULEs that (like mine) are dusty black. Are the glossy black ULEs stock or have they been re annoed and polished?

I have never seen a stock dust black ULE body... are you sure yours is a stock one? I know the TAC-1 bodies are dust, but the ULE bodies are gloss. Maybe yours was reannoed??

There arent any factory stock ULE bodies in dust colors to my knowledge. The dust/gloss your probably thinking of is just due to how pics are taken. I know in person a black ULE isnt 100% glossy smooth so sometimes they dont look gloss.

The stock finish is pretty much a satin black. Somewhere between gloss and dust and it does vary from body to body some in each direction.

If you put dust against it it looks gloss , and dust if you put gloss against it.

          Perfect example right here :
