New Ball Detent? Or has this been done

I have an old Cp Powerfeed mag with a barrel with no parts for the barrel. So I milled the barrel so you can add a rubber Alias/Spyder Style detent works great.

I believe the Doc's Machine barrel adapters take rubber nubbin type detents. But still, props to you for thinking of drilling a regular twistlock barrel to accept them.

Im wondering whats to keep the thing from fallin gout when you rip the barrel out.

Little drop of blue locktite. I used gasket glue for my doc's adapter.
