      it is advertised as the only sight that works with vert feed guns....

        Its an optical illusion sight. you keep both eyes open and with your eye thats not on the sight, look at the person you want to shoot and you see a dot.. I think
        DYE makes a sight thats almost exactly the same but it looks better, not its not the 'only' one

          Its a red dot sight, how it works is you aim with both eyes open, super impose sight over target ( put red dot on target) , one eye down sight other on target (sounds hard but its not) and lock n load. I dont like them because they focus all your sight on 1 image where as somebody could sneak up from your flanks while you are trying to target somebody in frony of you. It takes both eyes to work, its not a regular style electronic red dot, wher you just point n shoot. Plus it limits your site picture.

              It's called an "occluded" sight. You can't look through it, it's blocked. The clear front part gathers ambient light and sends it back to you through the red fiber optic line.

              It works by keeping both eyes open and looking at your target, one eye simply tries to look through it but only sees a red dot, you brain puts the dot on the target. No batteries to wear out, no lenses to fog or break.
